At Make-up Designory (MUD), we take immense pride in our talented instructors, and Sean Conklin is one such shining example. An Emmy award-winning make-up artist, graduate of MUD, and an instructor at MUD's Los Angeles Campus, Sean's journey is an inspiration for all aspiring make-up artists. 

Sean's most recent accomplishment is his Emmy win for Outstanding Contemporary Make-up for a Variety, Nonfiction, or Reality Program, achieved through his exceptional work on the HBO Max Original TV Show, "Legendary." The show introduces viewers to the vibrant world of voguing houses as they compete on extravagant runways. Sean's work was pivotal in bringing their creative visions to life. The process involved careful collaboration with the houses, costume and hair departments, and translating their ideas into stunning looks. Sean acknowledges the contribution of Department Head Tonia Green and Key Make-up Artist Tyson Fountaine in building a remarkable team that made the magic happen.

Sean’s role as MUD's Lead Artist, designer for seasonal campaigns, and International Brand Ambassador reflects his commitment to the brand's philosophy. As a featured artist on MUD's official YouTube channel, Sean has garnered millions of views, showcasing his talent and MUD cosmetics to a global audience.
